

Abhinav Farmer's Club
Abhinav Farmers Club (AFC) is a national award winning group for farming initiative located in Mulshi Taluka, of Pune district of Maharashtra, a state in India.
The club was started by Mr. Dnyaneshwar Bodke, who is also its chief volunteer.
It is dedicated to floriculture, exotic and organic vegetables.
The club has revolutionized traditional agriculture through use of modern methods of farming and direct marketing.
AFC has now transformed into a peer-to-peer knowledge sharing platform in which farmers brainstorm various aspects of farming. As a result, the sophistication of their farming methods, productivity and profits seems to have vastly improved.
The club started with 11 farmers in Maharashtra cultivating about 153 hectares of land & was set up on 15 August 2004.
It is supported by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) and ATMA (Agriculture Technology Management Agency).
Today it has a national presence with more than 45,000 farmers belonging to the states of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana.
