AFC (Abhinav Farmers Club) was established on 15 August 2004, supported by NABARD & ATMA.

An out-of-the-box thinking of this group has helped farmers in reaping rich harvests. About 305 members in Maharashtra alone stand to gain in their productivity today thanks to their membership to Abhinav Farmer’s Club.

​

The club today has a national presence with more than 45,000 farmers belonging to the states of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana.

​

They received a national award for all their activities in 2008. 

​

Abhinav Farmers Club grows flowers and organic vegetables in Polyhouses and sells them to retail outlets in Delhi and Mumbai.

They also exports the produce to Europe.

 

The group directly supplies vegetables and fruits to over 15,000 households in the city of Pune, Ahmednagar, Jalgoan, Sangali, Kolhapur and Solapur.

They have an annual turnover of Rs 25 to 30 crore, with a profit margin of 30%.
